Forums » Ideas » Wiki-write AMT's history that shows worker hand in making the system go. Forums, worker-requester negotiations, 3rd party tools, mods...

Histories of technology are often told as histories of invention – patents, a few people at a company, large feats of infrastructure, and high-level hobnobbing. Have Turkers affected the way Turk works? I think so, from running forums to pressuring and advising requesters to communicating with Amazon teams. Could we “crowdsource” (really, community source) a Turkers’ history of AMT and share it with the world? (I see this as a longer, slower version of the “show the world we’re human” project, but by showing the world we’re engines of this tech history)
